What Is Therapy?

Therapy Is for

Everyone

Talking therapy, also called counselling or psychotherapy, can help us to better understand ourselves whilst in a safe and confidential space. We can use therapy to explore many areas such as low moods, challenging thoughts or behaviours, relationship issues, or questions about our lives and experiences.

Therapy is also useful for something as simple as self-reflecting, needing help reaching a specific goal or having someone trained to listen to you. No issue is too big or too small to ask for support.

Therapy can be insightful and challenging, and can often bring a range of emotions and feelings to the surface. The role of a qualified and experienced therapist is to support you through your journey at a pace that is appropriate and thoughtful.

Although there are various therapeutic approaches, generally speaking, therapists do not tell you what to do or provide quick fire solutions. Rather, we believe in working collaboratively in supporting you explore issues and helping you find ways to manage or overcome them.

There are many different types of therapy; we offer the following services: Individual therapy (one to one), couples therapy, group therapy, telephone and online therapy.

The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.
