About Me and My Practice

Hi, I’m Laura and I am a COSRT registered sex and relationship therapist.

Sex and relationship therapy is a talking therapy that can help to resolve issues that are affecting your relationships, sex life, or both. My role as a therapist can take a few different forms. It may look like sex education, talking therapy or guidance with exercises to do in between sessions. Often it will involve all of these elements.

Importantly, I work to provide a space where you can talk openly without any fear of being shamed or judged. My approach is grounded in pluralism, which means that I honour the individuality of each person and tailor therapy to each person’s needs and learning styles.

As a therapist I am down to earth, warm, and open. I enjoy working in collaboration with my clients and work to create a space where you can express your full self in the therapy space. I welcome all genders, sexual orientations, and relationship structures in my practice.

Below are some common issues that I can help you with:

Painful sex • Difficulty reaching orgasm • Issues with arousal • Vaginismus • Unreliable erections • Premature ejaculation • Delayed ejaculation • Loss of desire • Polyamory • Ethical non-monogamy • Sexual orientation • Affairs • Mismatched desire • Communication • Improving relationships • Trust
