About Me and My Practice

I am a Gestalt and relational therapist providing a receptive and permissive space for growth and healing.

My style is person-centred: this is your space, and I will follow where you lead, with a focus on spontaneous and creative techniques, such as breathing, movement, meditation, and other experiments designed to deepen awareness.

I integrate Attachment Theory and Transactional Analysis to explore patterns of relating and the impact of family and society on your potential.

For those wanting to explore trauma or long-standing patterns, long-term work can be transformative, building capacity for self-acceptance and change. For shorter-term work, I draw on my background in Yoga and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy to share practical skills for self-regulation.

I view therapy as personal training for the mind-body system. Just as we invest in physical fitness, counselling can strengthen emotional flexibility, resilience, and self-support, with the aim of developing your ability to be your own healer.

Experience

I am experienced in working with:

• Depression and anxiety
• PTSD (including childhood abuse)
• Body Image
• Eating Disorders
• ADHD, OCD and compulsive behaviours
• Gender and Sexuality
• Anger issues
• Immigration, Religion and Cultural Issues
• Relationship diversity (from arranged marriages to polyamory)

I am a committed anti-racist and feminist therapist. I enjoy working with queer people and take pride in providing a confidential and supportive space for the LGBTQ+ community.
