About Me and My Practice

Some people think therapy is simply talking about your feelings or for people in crisis. Therapy is so much more than that. If you’re feeling stuck right now, you’re in the right place. We can talk about it together in a supportive, confidential space where you will be free from judgement.

Together we can explore the things that are troubling you – whether it’s the anxiety holding you back in your life, the low self-esteem that makes it difficult for you to communicate or the difficulties you have in forming meaningful relationships. Whatever it is, I will strive to understand your lived experience. At times I may highlight themes or offer interpretations, to enable you to see things from a different perspective or create new meaning. I have found as clients learn more about themselves, they get closer to their true self and feel empowered to make the changes they wish to live a better life.

As well as my own practice I work as a counselling consultant for a major record label supporting musicians and professionals. I have helped clients with specific challenges to working in the entertainment and creative industries: burnout, imposter syndrome, competition and comparison and co-dependency.

Qualifications and Memberships

• Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling – Integrative (CPCAB)

• Member of British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

• Member of British Association for Performing Arts Medicine (BAPAM)

Experience

I have previously worked with a diverse range of clients in different mental health settings, from the NHS’s IAPT service in Hammersmith to London Metropolitan University’s counselling service and ELOP – a LGBTQ+ charity providing counselling to GSRD clients.

Fees
